3/13-3/14 GRAYSCALE/REPITITION IN-CLASS & HOMEWORK

You will shoot off campus today and turn in 24 images in a contact sheet titled, Grayscale3

Please take your camera with you throughout the week because the sun might only be making appearances a few times a day.

Criteria:

• REPETITION or PATTERN -repetition of an art element w/some variation for interest
• VALUE - having a range of lights and darks from white to black
• EMPHASIS - creating a center of interest
• Additional Criteria: 
• Use artificial lighting for 24 of your images. This can be you setting up a lamp or using other artificial lighting to create shadows.
• Shadow - focus on the shadows that are made by the light

HOMEWORK:

Take another 24 images for this assignment.  If you have not focused on the additional criteria, do so for these images. Monday you will submit these images in a contact sheet titled, Grayscale4.
